Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Elva Wagar can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

random memories

I have so many memories of Jaye that it would be impossible to put them all here.

I grew up idolizing my oldest sister - I wanted to be just like her when I grew up.  When she was in nursing, I wanted to be a nurse; when she was in teaching, I wanted to be a teacher. And when she married Don, I wanted a husband just like him.  As I grew up, we retained that bond.  Years later I married a man who shared some of the same characteristics as Don and I like to think that they were more to each other than just brothers in law.

Victoria Day weekend became an annual plant shopping trip for Jaye and myself.  We would head to as many greenhouses as we possibly could in a 3 day weekend and my front lawn and dining room became a temporary home for a multitude of plants.  Jaye loved her flowers and sharing her passion.

She also loved her dogs - she had rescued greyhounds until she was no longer able to care for them and then had a couple of small rescue dogs.  They gave her much enjoyment.

Jaye is missed and I will always have a special place for her in my heart.
